The Artistic Flair

I just came from staying at the VP Plaza España Hotel in Madrid, and I was thoroughly impressed. And that’s why I had to write about it!

I have to start by saying some of the pictures are not mine as, for some reason, I lost some of my shots. Don’t ask me how I did it. And while I do have pictures of the room and bathroom, I manage to show my face in all of those, and this blog is not about me, so some pictures are taken from the Hotel’s page. I’ll mention that on the caption.

From the moment I walked into the room, I was blown away by the luxurious details which are complete with thoughtful touches like the delicious Pancracio chocolate on arrival, which has a rich history in Spain. Established in 1857, Pancracio is a renowned chocolatier that has been creating high-quality chocolates for over 160 years, making it the perfect addition to the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The room was spacious and elegantly designed, with stunning mirrors and lighting that made it feel extra special. I appreciated the two different types of robes, one for lounging in the room and another for after my shower, which made me feel pampered and cared for.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet. With a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, fresh pastries, and a variety of fruit, I was spoiled for choice. I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail, and I was even able to improvise my own delicious avocado and smoked salmon toast using ingredients from the buffet. The smoked salmon was especially delicious, with a rich and smoky flavor that was perfectly complemented by the creamy avocado.

In the afternoon, I made my way up to the Ginko Bar, a rooftop bar with breathtaking views of the city. The bar offers a variety of signature cocktails, and I was impressed by the creativity and care that went into each drink. I loved sipping on my cocktail while taking in the sights of Madrid, and the bar was the perfect place to unwind after a long day.

Before dinner, I made it to the Biloba Spa to relax before going out and it was a true haven for relaxation. The indoor swimming pool with a view of the bustling streets of Madrid and jacuzzi-like features was the perfect way to unwind and soak up the sun. I was also impressed by the spa’s attention to detail, with a range of products and services designed to help you feel your best.

I must give a shout-out to the reception team. They went above and beyond to make my stay even more memorable. They even helped me book restaurants and sent a card with all the details straight up to my room, so I could easily make my way to dinner on time.

And with that, my weekend stay at VP Plaza España Hotel came to an end. It was a truly unforgettable experience filled with comfort, luxury, and memorable moments. I highly recommend VP Plaza España Hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable and memorable stay in the heart of Madrid.

Adiós, VP Plaza España, hasta pronto!

Yours Truly,
Nola
